Junior Drill Team 2008!
KDCTA Jr. Drill Team
- Commitment
- 10-11 mounted practices. Can only miss 3 practices.
- Must know the drill!
- Make arrangements for trailer ride if needed
- Attire Riders-Tan Breeches, Green KDCTA polo Shirt, tall black boots or half chaps, black helmet, black gloves? Horses-Square white pad, white polo wraps, English saddle/bridle, braided manes
- Jobs to be done:
i. Shirt Co-ordinator
ii. Tail gate Co-ordinator(s)
iii. Announcer
iv. Video/Photographer
v. Gate/Ring crew
vi. music
- 2008 Practice Schedule:
- Practice dates are pm Fridays of each month
- April:
- 11th Create the drill 6:00 pm at Alice Kelsey’s.
- 25th Practice “walk thru’s” of the choreography at Centre Stable’s indoor; at 6:45pm
- May:
- 9th Walk thru practice, Smith's at 6:15-6:45pm
- 23rd Mounted practice, Lorin Nauman's at 6:00pm
- June:
- 13th Mounted practice, APD Site at 6:00 PM
- 27th Mounted practice, APD Site at 6:00 PM
- July:
- 11th Mounted practice, Brech's/time TBD
- 25th Mounted practice, Brech's/time TBD
- August:
- 8th Mounted practice, APD site, time TBD
- 15th Alternate/Extra Practice date if needed
- Sunday Aug 17th, Mandatory Performance Practice with both Jr. & Sr. Teams at the APD site, time TBA
- Performanceà Tuesday Aug 19th APD Performance(s).
- Performanceà Grange Fair Date TBA
- September:
- Performance/Competitionà Saturday, September 6th - Fall KDCTA show-Grange Fairgrounds
